Remiton is a fast and intuitive mobile application designed for quick and secure international
money transfers. The app allows users to send funds to friends, family, or business partners in
just a few taps. The focus of the product is simplicity, speed, and user trust — providing a
seamless experience for both new and experienced users.
As the sole product designer on the project, I was responsible for the entire design process —
from initial research and wireframes to the final UI and prototype. I created the design system
from scratch, ensuring visual consistency, scalability, and accessibility across all screens.
Every interaction was carefully designed to minimize friction while maintaining the highest
security standards for financial transactions.
To ensure a fast and smooth onboarding experience, we minimized the number of steps in the registration process. Users can sign up quickly using just their phone number — no lengthy forms or unnecessary fields.
During the login process, we made sure to support users in case of any issues. If a user experiences problems accessing their account, they can easily contact support directly from the login screen. Additionally, a "Forgot password" option is available to help users quickly recover access without leaving the flow. These features were designed to reduce frustration and improve the overall user experience.
On the home screen, we designed a quick transfer widget that allows users to send money instantly to their most frequent recipients. Just below, users can view their recent transactions, making it easy to track past activity. Each transaction includes a "Repeat" option, enabling users to quickly resend money without having to re-enter details — streamlining the overall experience and saving time.
The money transfer flow is divided into clear, step-by-step screens to guide the user through the process with confidence. At each step, we provide detailed information — including the exact amount being sent, the conversion rate, and a transparent breakdown of all fees. This level of clarity helps build trust and ensures users know exactly what they're paying and what the recipient will receive.
Users receive timely notifications about transaction updates, security alerts, and important account information. The notification system is designed to keep users informed without being overwhelming, with clear categorization and the ability to customize notification preferences based on individual needs.
The More menu provides easy access to additional features including account settings, transaction history, help resources, and support options. Each feature is organized logically with clear icons and descriptions to help users quickly find what they need and manage their account effectively.
The integrated support chat allows users to get help directly within the app without interrupting their flow. Users can report issues, ask questions about transactions, or get assistance with account-related matters. The chat interface includes quick responses and the ability to share transaction details securely when needed.
